Primary healthcare, health service delivery and the local level – where do we go from here?

The session will reflect on the progress and achievements since the landmark UK Dawson report in 1920 preparing the ground for primary health care, universal health coverage and the healthy cities approach to improving health for all.  It will highlight the UK experience and reflect on opportunities and challenges, particularly within the context of the growing NCD burden.
