Plenary 2: A healthy city: peace through participation

The session will explore the role of cities in mobilizing the people within them to contribute to peaceful and resilient communities and societies, in particular in the aftermath of conflict or events that serve to fragment society. It will highlight mental health and the psycho-social elements of post-conflict reconciliation in urban environments, and explore the role of cities in ensuring, maintaining, and rebuilding peace through participation.
